While practicing law, I taught several community education courses on legal subjects for Idaho Legal Aid. I also was a certified CPR instructor, but that certification has expired. I attended and completed the "Train the Trainors" course from the National District Attorney's Association and was chosen as one of four from 400 students to be a trainor at the next session. As a PSR, I worked one on one with students in the school setting and on an individual setting working on behavioral issues that prohibited learning in a regular setting. I also taught one on one, in an individual setting with these students. I worked with children from Kindergarten through High School.

A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent graduate form BYU-Idaho, I have gained a greater appreciation for how important it is to learn the basics of math and science in order to succeed. I have earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis in automation and robotics. The classes required to earn this degree have required an advanced understanding of linear Algebra, geometry, calculus, physics, and technical writing. I believe that when the basic concepts of math and science are mastered, the complex concepts become simple. I have over 25 years of experience in the Information Technology (IT) industry as an instructional developer, technical writer, help developer, business process analyst, and trainer. I have earned a BA in Spanish and an MEd in Instructional Technology. I am pursuing a PhD in Education in Instructional Design for Online Learning (IDOL).
