young tutor that works well with children

I have 5 nephews and a daughter of my own shop I'm great with children. I was an honors grad and I also became a certified nursing assistant before I even graduated high school. I'm great in public speaking and have had many speeches myself with an audience of over one hundred. I do know the main signs as well as the alphabet for sign language because I have a brother and sister whom are deaf. Also I have always been great in mathematics. I keep an open mind to the various ways a student may learn because everyone is different.

I currently work as a substitute teacher at Riverside Military Academy. I've worked with elementary children and teenagers extensively. My most recent position serves twenty and thirty somethings in their personal and spiritual formation. I have published my writing, acted on stage, spoken before thousands and mentored dozens. Diverse background with ability to adapt learning

I believe that a lack of success in academic's is usually attributed to one of two things; a lack of motivation(it's not fun enough) or a misunderstanding of the fundamentals(which brings a feeling of hopelessness). This is particularly true in foreign languages. Many times a person must rewire their brain when it comes to learning a new language. My goal in tutoring is to help students not just fix a problem but create an overall understanding of what they are learning. I also like to focus on making goals and increasing motivation to learn.
