young tutor that works well with children

I have 5 nephews and a daughter of my own shop I'm great with children. I was an honors grad and I also became a certified nursing assistant before I even graduated high school. I'm great in public speaking and have had many speeches myself with an audience of over one hundred. I do know the main signs as well as the alphabet for sign language because I have a brother and sister whom are deaf. Also I have always been great in mathematics. I keep an open mind to the various ways a student may learn because everyone is different.

I currently work as a substitute teacher at Riverside Military Academy. I've worked with elementary children and teenagers extensively. My most recent position serves twenty and thirty somethings in their personal and spiritual formation. I have published my writing, acted on stage, spoken before thousands and mentored dozens. Diverse background with ability to adapt learning

I have always been a very curious and academic person. I love to learn and like to pass that on to my students. It makes it easier because I have really lived a lot of the things I teach. I grew up in a small town in Idaho and excelled in both my Math and Science classes. At 16 I decided I needed to see the world so I moved to Argentina as an exchange student. I spent a year learning both the culture and language of the country. I was able to travel a lot and really felt like a member of their society. I returned and finished my senior year of high school. Hello! Thank you for your time. In the summer of 2002, I tutored children from ages 6-12 years at an educational camp. I usually tutor young adults, focusing on conversational English, as well as grammar and writing.
