I have a Master’s degree from one of the most prestigious schools in Russia. My education is a combination of philology and methodology of teaching. My extensive professional experience in tourist industry and for international companies rendered me bilingual in French. I taught French language and culture in 10 classes of 20 students each in Russia for 3 years. I was teaching and tutoring ESL for Russian and French-speaking kids and I substituted for French teachers at the Ann Arbor public schools. A Little Bit About Me...

I studied at Kalamazoo college, which was a liberal arts school that encouraged students to take a variety of courses. While, my major and expertise is in Biology, I learned about many different subjects and cultures through study abroad and course work. A majority of my teaching experience is centered around sports, as I played college tennis and have always had a passion for sharing my abilities with kids who want to improve their tennis game. As a German major, I know what is involved in learning a foreign language. I taught German for two years to 1st-3rd graders, taught English language and American culture to 14-19 year old students in Austria, and have some experience teaching English to middle school students. Most of my experience teaching English comes from 8 months of planning lessons and teaching English to Austrians. I have lived in both Germany and Austria, and have studied German for 9 years.
