This is my second time tutoring and my first time was a great experience. It was stressful a first but after I formed a bond with those I tutored, everything else was simple. In high school, Math as never my strongest subjects, and it still isn't unless its Elementary Math. I had to take ALGEBA 1 three times! Any History subject and Language Arts is my strongest areas. I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. I love to teach chilren to love to read! My 18 years of experience in the elementary classroom has been a wonderful experience. Most of those years have been in the first grade setting. Experience consist of 5 years as a Para Educator. I have been teaching high school level subjects to young adults with many different levels of mental and physical disabilities. I am also state certified for the position and have been certified in CPR and First Aid. During these five years I have tutored students in mathematics, science, English, arts, history and various life skills.
