My comments on tutoring Pre-Calculus : I am a certified high school teacher in Kentucky currently working on my PhD in instruction and administration with emphases in mathematics education and assessment. I have 16 years of high school teaching experience and taught Pre-Calc several times over those years. I also served as math department chair, a mentor teacher, and primary curriculum writer. Young inexpensive tutor with modernized teaching strategies

Currently a student pursuing a Master's in Accounting and my CPA. I am a double major in Business Administration and Accounting from Transylvania University. I have worked with elementary aged students since I was about 16 years old and I have now progressed into tutoring high school and college students.

I have over fifteen years of teaching experience in the areas of mathematics, physics and astronomy. I taught at colleges and universities in the State of Illinois, Big Sandy Community and Technical College located in Prestonsburg; Kentucky, and I taught at Xavier University School of Medicine in Aruba; Dutch Caribbean. I earned a PhD in Physics from The University of Chicago.

I love to learn, which is why I love teaching children. Every child learns differently, because of this, teaching is a learning process as well! I believe that students learn best through hands on activities that allow them to internalize the concepts they are struggling with. Whether it is using math manipulatives to understand multiplication and division or using letter tiles to understand consonant blends in reading, hands on activities are the best way to learn.
