A Little Bit About Me...

When teaching I like to put myself in the child's shoes and think "how can I make this understandable?" When teaching you must make the materials interesting and enjoyable for the learner. I enjoy bringing hands on materials into my lessons whenever possible and use positive feedback to encourage the child.
I recently graduated from the University of South Carolina-Aiken and hold a BA in Early Childhood Education. I am a certified K-3 teacher and I am currently pursuing my MAED online. I enjoy working with children of all ages. I believe that because each child is different, they learn differently, and therefore I must find a teaching style that helps that particular study achieve their maximum ability. I understand that some students are more visual while others may be auditory.
