Aerospace Engineer with tutoring experience

I teach through examples and Q&A. I strongly encourage students to interrupt with questions as the occur. I have found through my own education, I am unable to focus or concentrate when thinking of another question. Often small benign questions can lead to larger answers or breakthroughs for students.
I have mentored/ tutored elementary students in first Lego league competition while as college student. Additionally I worked as a tutor and grader for the U of I. I currently teach at Calhoun Community College in Decatur, AL, ITT-Tech in Madison, AL, and Alabama A & M in Huntsville, AL. As you saw above, I have my Master's Degree in Math Education. I love hands-on learning, however some math topics don't always lend themselves to that. Geometry has always been my favorite topic to teach.
