I Love to Help People

Hi My Name is Shanda. I am 23 years old. I don't have a lot of experience in some stuff but I graduated from High School in 2011 with a High School Diploma. I just love to help people and I am working my way to work in a hospital from an administrative assistant and would like to work my way up to become a NICU nurse that works with Premature Babies. That's why I am going to college for my Bachelors Degree in Health Administration. My daughter that is now 4 was 2 months Premature and ever since then I have always wanted to work with children and babies.

I am a recent graduate of the Master in Teaching program at The Evergreen State College. I am a certified teacher in Washington state, endorsed to teach reading, writing, math and science K-8. Through my studies and student teaching experiences, I have worked with primarily first through fifth graders. In the realm of tutoring, I have experience tutoring struggling first through 5th grade readers in the Washington Reading Corps program.
