Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Not only is this a hobby of mine, it is something I taught for 10 years to gifted and talented students in the classroom. Many of them have won awards and been published.

I am a teacher that makes sure her students understand the basics, then we build on that. No one is a great writer unless he/she doesn't have an appropriate grasp of the fundamentals. It's like trying to master shooting a three point shot in basketball without knowing how to hold the ball or dribble. I have always been told by students that I am the best teacher they ever had because I don't assume they know anything. I evaluate exactly their proficiency in the subject, and tailor lessons to where they are in their understanding. Also, even though my students may be older, they still want our sessions to be fun! Young inexpensive tutor with modernized teaching strategies

By working with elementary students I have exhibited that I am capable of vast patience, so I am willing to work as long as the student would require. I teach every student different, so my initial goal would be to learn about the student and find out their favorite methods of instruction.

During my two years attending graduate school at Ohio University, I was responsible for teaching an introductory college course. Aside from the mandated textbook, I developed and distributed all course materials, including in-class lectures, classroom exercises, course examinations, and other various learning materials. I assisted the students in properly parsing and formulating an appropriate answer to each assignment, as well as clarifying their own conceptual understanding of the course material.
