Tap Dancing is one of my top subjects! * Taught recreational (Beg-Adv), competitive and company classes to all age levels for over 6 years. * Teaching styles included ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip hop, character, technique and strengthening, combo, choreography, and gymnastics. * Choreographed multiple routines for regional and national competitions.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have experience working with both audio/visual learners and a kinesthetic/tactile learner. The kinesthetic/tactile learner had learning disabilities akin to ADD, but still did very well in the small group environment. I believe that children who want to learn will do so given the proper setting and sufficient time to succeed. I have very high patience for children who try hard and still struggle, but I do expect the student to give their best effort at each task.
I earned a Bachelor of Science from The Ohio State University in 1984. My subjects of passion were math and science and I enjoy working with children who struggle in those areas. I have home schooled my son through the end of 12th grade and he was ready for college freshman classes at age 15.
