Some children respond to verbal teaching, while others prefer visual teaching, or others like to interact with their environment (the hands on approach). Each child has their own language. A Little Bit About Me...

I prefer to work with children who have learning disabilities and/or with a dislike for education. I find that my teaching style is interesting to this particular type of student. I acknowledge the childs dismay in learning and I allow them to help me to adjust the teaching material to a teaching style that best suits the childs learning style. Science and english are subjects that many children don't enjoy. I make it much easier for them to learn the subject and then we expound thier knowledge from there.
I graduated from UCF with a Bachelors in Communicative Disorders (speech therapy). I love english and science and found this to be a perfect mix. I worked with children with language delays in group settings and also tutored children individually.
