Special Education is one of my top subjects! I worked as a social worker and coached children in the school and home setting.

My teaching style incorporates all learning styles, because I am a firm believer that we all learn differently. I am a very patient and passionate teacher. Being excited about the subject is key to being a successful teacher. However, I expect my students to be motivated and to give 100 percent effort to their studies.
I studied Elementary Education during my undergraduate. During this time, I was a student teacher on several different occasions. I assisted the home room teacher and independently planned and taught lessons to the students. I have worked with grades 1 to 5 as a student teacher. A Little Bit About Me...

After learning various teaching and learning styles at Indiana State University, I feel it is important to find each child’s unique learning style. After this is accomplished, I then apply the teaching styles that the student will learn best from. I enjoy using visuals and hands-on activities when working with a student. I am a kid at heart and I feel this is why I connect with children so easily. I feel this is equally important when working with children. I have worked with children through a number of ways. I assist children in 4-H during the fair. I help the children in the horse and pony club by educating them on proper grooming and showing techniques. I also have volunteered my time to help with middle school cheerleading. I assist the girls before tryouts and educated them on proper cheerleading techniques.
