I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. I know that each child is unique and you have to truly understand the child and the stresses and concerns they have with learning, before you can teach them. I am very patient, kind,and understanding. I want the child to know that he or she is capable of learning anything and will allow them to reach that potential. Often, students have been rushed through the basic manipulative/hands-on discovery phase of learning, and have had to memorize rules in order to move on instead of truly understanding.
