I love interacting with children and teaching them to the best of my ability. I enjoy working with students who are elementary aged up through college aged. I particularly love working with middle school students. I am sensitive to student's individual needs and realize that everyone learns at their own pace and in their own way. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved being able to teach and instruct in areas that I am very familiar with. Working the past two years at Eastern Idaho Technical College with the students has enhanced this skill. A Little Bit About Me...

It was a drive within my nature or inner self to pursue a course in Child Development and Family Relations and a minor in Psychology as I attended college at Ricks College and Brigham Young University. My direction following those events led me to teach as an assistant teacher and then as a classroom teacher at a private school working with the young children in Preschool and Kindergarten. I tutored first graders in some of their basic skills such as reading and math. My experience following those days led me to teaching and raising my own children tutoring and homeschooling two of them and further experience in teaching preschool age children in Nursery at the church I attend.

I am a kid at heart. I understand and relate to children of all ages. I had a son with some special needs. I had to help him with his math throughout most of his junior high and high school years.
