Credentialed Elementary Teacher Able to Tutor K-12

I am a credentialed elementary teacher, but have experience tutoring K-12, both in person and virtually. I began tutoring virtually starting in mid 2019 and refined my skills during the pandemic when everything became virtual. Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! I am a news and features writer for a weekly newspaper in Chino and Chino Hills, and also write screenplays and fiction. Finding a unique perspective from which to approach any subject and matching it with the storytelling style that best captures the tone is my greatest strength.

Teaching a student to ask questions and arrive at their own conclusions, with guided discussion, is the best way to ensure that the knoweldge stays with them. The questions are at least as important as the answers.
