A Little Bit About Me...

I began my tutoring experience in the fall of 2009 with a program called Breakthrough Manchester. It serves underprivileged students in the area who do not have the resources to succeed. They ranged from grade 5 to 8. With Breakthrough I worked one-on-one with students as well as in a classroom setting in which I conducted my own lessons. I helped students with a variety of subjects such as science, math, social studies, geography, and even organizational skills. I worked with children from all walks of life, including kids with disabilities. During my time at Breakthrough I also spent two days a week tutoring mentally disabled adults. I helped them with basic math and reading skills, as well as life skills.

My style of art is hands on and viewer participations. After recieving my master's degree in Visual Art; I started teaching youngsters in the museum classes, Boston Children's Museum, Worceser Art Museum, and Fitchburg Art Museum.
