I tutored before but of course I wasn't paid for it because it was at my old elementary school. I helped children from ages 8-13 which I was only 11 or 12 at the time. I maybe young to tutor children and maybe I should wait until I'm 18 but, I love helping children with their homework and watch them accomplish the subject.

I have tutored children from ages 7 to twelve for the last four years. Explained complex concepts using easy-to-understand terms. Communicated with parents to update them on student progress, while also keeping files of charts and reports of the students progress. I teach in whatever style best suits the person learning, the closer to their way of learning, the more the student is going to comprehend.

I attended a small town highschool, but excelled above most of my peers there. I was on the Honor Roll, i can honestly never remember getting any grade lover than a high B, but once. And that was in Spanish, which I do not tutor in, haha. I believe my strong point would be English. Not only am I good at it, I ENJOY it. I am also very distinguised with computer programs, mostly Microsoft programs. My tutoring is guided by instructional strategies that help learners make meaning. I ask learners questions frequently to determine what they understand. I adjust my tutoring techniques based on learners' behaviors.
