My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I have a bachelor's degree in creative writing and poetry from the University of Cincinnati.

I went to Princeton High School, and took American Sign Language throughout my high school career. My senior year, I also mentored a fellow student who was deaf when she came to my school for a class. I also took courses at UC and recieved a certificate in Deaf Studies. I have also interacted with a few deaf people over the years.
I prefer teaching one on one, but I could teach a small group.

My comments on tutoring Creative Writing : I've been writing since 2nd grade; I won a story contest in elementary school and was also published in the University of Cincinnati Medical School's World AIDS Day bulletin (2007). Writing is a beloved pastime of mine as well as an inherent strength.

Creative Writing is one of my top subjects! Creative writing, especially in English, is one of my favorite things to do. I see the world in terms of drama. I can teach you creative writing in a matter of minutes. I am very serious.

Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.
I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. My teaching method has been tried and tested by me,so much so that I have consistently scored highly in most of my courses from undergraduate through graduate school and into the doctoral program. I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools.
