Teacher with gentle touch - Very good at explaining new subj

Web manager and usability analyst as well as instructor. I have been asked at various jobs to teach training classes to my peers because of my ability to deliver an easy to understand lesson. I've been told I am very good at explaining a topic that someone has no experience with at all. I am on contract with NC States Computer Training Unit.
I try to find the teaching style that is going to work for the student. Are they visual? Do they need to touch to learn? Finding out how to teach them and then helping them learn skills for independent study are just as important as the material.

There are currently huge gaps in the education of our children, which if left unaddressed, cause struggle and difficulties for them down the road, and ultimately in life. I am passionate about filling in those gaps and doing my part to ensure every child or adult is given the educational help they are entitled to.
