My experience with tutoring began in high school, when I started assisting elementary students with homework through one of my clubs. Throughout the two years I was involved, I regularly helped 6 students, along with 6 students that I met with irregularly. I have experience tutoring children with behavioral issues, learning disabilities (dyslexia, ADHD, ADD), as well as students on the Autism Spectrum. From the training I received, I learned methodics, how to teach math, science, physical education, arts, and develop other skills. I am patient and know child psychology. Since every student learns differently, I find that the best teaching style is to explain concepts in multiple formats, whether oral explanations, diagrams and pictures, real-life examples, or algebraic formulas.
