I can adapt my teaching style to auditory, visual or hands-on type learning. I try to create a relaxed and fun (silly for the little ones) atmosphere where learning will be fun and memorable, because I believe that if you enjoy it - you'll remember it. All students will be given a pre-test prior to instruction so that I can decern if the students problem is one of cognative development or simply gaps in the learning process. I try to help the student relate their learning to real world experiences.

While teaching high school students and adults I have helped many struggling learners. One of my main goals in all interactions with students I strive to build their confidence. I like to be a person my students can trust who they also understand has high expectations for them. My classroom management is built around responsibility and accountability, and humor.
I graduated with a BS in history in 1996. After nearly seven years working for a large communications corporation I returned to college to get my teaching credentials. My experience comes from earning a bachelor degree in Computer Studies. I have learned extensive grammatical skills due to writing many research papers.
