I believe in working collaboratively with each other. Basing lessons on things that you love will will help you see the real life connections and importance of education. If we don't get it one way we will approach it another. Never giving up is my teaching style. If the first way we go about a learning objective doesn't work it will be my job to find a new way to teach it.
I have been teaching for 5 years. I have experience in 2nd through 4th grade. I am open to tutoring everywhere from kinder to 5th. I love math and reading. Common Sense Teacher using Real World Strategies

I feel that a child needs to feel comfortable to learn. I will create a connection with your child to make him feel very comfortable and secure to increase interaction and confidence, which will lead to success. I also feel it is important to make learning relevant to my students by using real life examples. Children want to know why they need to learn certain things and I will show them how their knowledge is essential to being successful in life.
I have 12 years of teaching experience in grades 2-5. This is my first year out of the classroom, therefore I am very knowledgeable about the changing and increased expectations that your child is facing. Each of us are blessed with a special talent and mine is teaching. I am very passionate about education and have been very successful teaching children the skills and strategies necessary to succeed in all of their core subjects.
