While i am teaching, i like to make it simple and fun. Try to make it more practical, i like using real things and sing songs , play small games ,playing videos or handmade some things to make my class more fun,and a lot easier to learn. I am a native Chinese speaker, I went to university majored in Chinese language and literature education for 4years ,got my bachelor's degree. After that , i got my TCSOL CERTIFICATE. I was a teacher back in China. I taught some foreigners business chinese too. Before i became a school teacher, i had worked as a translator for an American company for 2years, i moved to America with my American husband a few months ago, and we have a son.

I am good at both Traditional and Simplified Chinese Characters. There are hundreds of dialects in China. I can speak mandarin well with no accent. Many years lived in both cultures, I’m well developed a cross-cultural Perspectives so I can help the students to see these two big group with deeper understanding. My passion is to be a bridge to connect both different cultures.. To get to this goal, I will be a good listener to meet where the students is at. I will give examples to explain those experiences to the students. I got my BA degree in Taiwan as well as my teaching Certificate there. More credits taken in master degree here in the USA. I did some Chinese tutoring in the past years from age 8 to 25 years old. I love my students and will enjoy this journey with them.

I was barely 17 when I founded a one room school in the remote mountains of Hainan Island where I taught all subjects and all grades. Thus began my love of teaching.
