An outline should be introduced before they come to learn a square-like artistic character. I also like to give them the current view of Chinese. What is traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese? The basic concept of how to write them and in what systematic way they were made. After the foundation was built, students can decide how deep or which direction they want to learn. LEARN CHINESE FROM ME, NO DIFFICULTY BUT FUN.

While i am teaching, i like to make it simple and fun. Try to make it more practical, i like using real things and sing songs , play small games ,playing videos or handmade some things to make my class more fun,and a lot easier to learn. I like to ask opinion from my student what and how they want to learn,i can adjust to meet Their needs.
I am a native Chinese speaker, I went to university majored in Chinese language and literature education for 4years ,got my bachelor's degree. After that , i got my TCSOL CERTIFICATE. I was a teacher back in China. I taught some foreigners business chinese too. Before i became a school teacher, i had worked as a translator for an American company for 2years, i moved to America with my American husband a few months ago, and we have a son.

I am good at both Traditional and Simplified Chinese Characters. There are hundreds of dialects in China. I can speak mandarin well with no accent. Many years lived in both cultures, I’m well developed a cross-cultural Perspectives so I can help the students to see these two big group with deeper understanding. My passion is to be a bridge to connect both different cultures.. To get to this goal, I will be a good listener to meet where the students is at. I will give examples to explain those experiences to the students. I got my BA degree in Taiwan as well as my teaching Certificate there. More credits taken in master degree here in the USA. I did some Chinese tutoring in the past years from age 8 to 25 years old. I love my students and will enjoy this journey with them.
