I believe that anyone can learn anything as long as they're willing to learn and put an effort to do so. What is different is that some people have more ability than other to learn certain tasks, but eventually, everyone can learn. A Little Bit About Me...

I have only ever tutored my neighbors two daughters. They both benefitted from it and both of the girls grades went up. Most of the time I would help them with math ,but would also help in any subject they needed, and they would work on their homework as I watched and guided them in the correct direction. If they were truly lost I would reteach the section and try to relate it to something they would better understand. They seemed to enjoy having me over to help and I loved being able to help them when they needed it.
Normally I will watch as the student works and when they get stuck is when I would help them. If they do not understand the material I will go back and teach it again. I have taught full time in public and Catholic schools for 10 years. I taught part time as substitute, long term (months to full semesters or more), tutoring for 16years. While in college I had numerous teaching and tutoring experiences. I participated in the Multicultural Program in college and the American Indian Project.
