My drive for knowledge enabled me to complete three degrees by the age of 22. I have high grades in all my classes as well as the extra science and writing classes I take on the side. I have a AAST in environmental science and technology, a BA in marine science and environmental studies, and will have my BS in one quarter. It is my considered opinion that there are many styles of teaching that can work effectively with students. Generally, I feel that it is best to adapt the style of teaching to the personality, interest, and capability of the student. My preference is working with teens and young adults, with whom I find that a style that guides them to find the answers for themselves is of greatest advantage. I have work with special education student, as well as advance placement student. I have only noticed one difference with each group and that is the pace that the classroom goes in. Although I enjoy working with small groups or one on one with student I believe that I am able to work with more then ten students at a time. I really try to let the kids explain to me how they interoperate the dictation first and then help them a long.
