My teaching style is definitely more of a facilitator/demonstrator style where I show and teach you the moves step by step then encourage you (the peer) to learn, search, and practice independently. I have breakdancing since '98. I have competed and won many battles both alone and with my old breakdancing crew. I have taught an all ages class successfully for one year and a middle school class for another single year. I have done choreography and am very proficient in innovating and creating new moves. I can do: flips (front and back), power-moves i.e. windmills, flare, 1990's, 2000's, and more, and many different styles of footwork! I can also assist you with regular modern hip-hop moves as well.

With teacher certificate in Taiwan,I have tutored more than 30 students in the past years. I preferred adult students. I like to give them the general rules and understanding of Chinese. An outline should be introduced before they come to learn a square-like artistic character. I also like to give them the current view of Chinese. What is traditional Chinese or simplified Chinese? The basic concept of how to write them and in what systematic way they were made. After the foundation was built, students can decide how deep or which direction they want to learn. Of course. if they know what they want to know, I will be more than happy to meet their needs.

I am good at both Traditional and Simplified Chinese Characters. There are hundreds of dialects in China. I can speak mandarin well with no accent. Many years lived in both cultures, I’m well developed a cross-cultural Perspectives so I can help the students to see these two big group with deeper understanding. My passion is to be a bridge to connect both different cultures.. To get to this goal, I will be a good listener to meet where the students is at. I will give examples to explain those experiences to the students. I got my BA degree in Taiwan as well as my teaching Certificate there. More credits taken in master degree here in the USA. I'm a average web designer who is completely self taught. I think that for that reason I would be able to connect more with the students because I didnt sit in a classroom and have a teacher. I learned at a slower rate but I got to choose which fields in webdesign I wanted to focus on. In a college type setting your required to follow the same study path that all the other students are on. Which makes learning your favorite style much harder.
