Upon my decision to return to college and obtain my BS degree, it was discovered that I possessed an uncanny, natural talent involving all aspects of the studies surrounding English. Reading, comprehension, symbolism, poetry, creative writing, poise, maturitym ,ect. After that placement exam, it was decided that I did not have to take any English courses, or, I would take more advanced courses. I did choose the latter. Throughout the last 10 years, I have helped my husband, brother, all of my children, etc. I have tutored them on how to write a well developed paper on their topic of choice, and have it read showing the expertise of the writer. I possess the same talents when it comes to proper grammar. I also teach Catholisim to the 8th grade once per week for 2 hours. I prepare them for the sacrament of confirmation. I have recently graduated from Purchase College with an Undergraduate degree in Music with a minor in English. During School I tutored students in English composition and edited students essays and papers during the entirety of my undergraduate education. I have also taught voice and music theory to students privately. In High-school I scored a 97 percent out of 100 on the English regents exam. I recently received a full scholarship to complete my masters at the University of Maryland.

I really enjoy teaching students how to play the bass. It's a thrill when they have that "Aha" moment and what I'm trying to show them simply clicks. Every student I've ever had has had different reasons for coming to me and therefore I approach each individual differently and I try to tailor each lesson to their needs.
