As an undergraduate, I attended Purdue University and worked as a teaching assistant where I ran my own lab, instructing students for one of their core management courses. In my junior year, I was asked to apply to an invitation-only program for an an accelerated MBA program only for exceptional students. I am now entering my final year of this program and will graduate in 2011 with a BS in Business Management and a Masters degree in Business Administration. The graduate program is team focused and emphasizes working with and teaching diverse groups of people.
I am a strong believer in teaching through examples and letting students try to apply the knowledge I have taught them at various smaller stages, then apply it to the bigger picture. I love working with kids, and I think that with patience, understanding, and time, all students are capable of reaching their potential.

I received my BS in Math and Statistics from Miami University in 2007 and my MS in Statistics from Miami University in 2009. During my two years as a graduate student, I tutored students in Calculus and Introductory Statistics. For Calculus, open sessions were held twice a week for two hours where students with questions on content or problem solving could drop in and receive my one-on-one coaching. For the Introductory Statistics course, I would hold open office hours three times a week for one hour. Students would come to me with questions on content, problems and statistical programming. I also occasionally substituted for the professor in both the Introductory Statistics course and in a Probability course.
