I teach how math and science can be useful and fun!

I have a BS degree in chemistry and an MS degree in math. I currently teach at the college level for various colleges including dual credit courses in many high schools. I have been a tutor for over 15+ years. I have been a statistician, a chemist in a laboratory setting, worked in the medical field, and done consulting for various companies through out my career. I love math and science, and my passion allows me to make learning and applying math and science interesting and entertaining to even the most difficult audiences.
Relaxed style, I am there to help the student learn in whatever way works best for them. I like to use real world situations to make the content practical and ensure that the student both retains the knowledge and can apply it.

I have over thirty years of teaching experience helping students succeed by developing their skills in language arts. Reading instruction is my passion and I have worked with students from Kindergarten through Grade 8. Also, I have helped many students pass state-mandated tests through the use of tried and true strategies and skill awareness. Helping students of all ages, learn the basics of reading and improve fluency, is something that I enjoy and have experienced great success. It is always rewarding to see a student gain a year or two of reading levels in a few short months. Passionate Elementary Education Tutor

I love teaching and I love to see the spark in a child's eye when they finally understand a subject they have struggled with! I am a certified special education instructional support aide for an elementary school in northwest Fort Worth. During the school year, I work in Resource and Content Mastery with special education students that are in general education classes but need additional instruction in Reading, Math, and Language Arts. I also provide additional assistance through Content Mastery to students in Science and Social Studies. I am currently pursuing a second Master's degree in Education with a specialization in Special Education as well as pursuing teacher certification through Texas Teachers. Although I work with all levels of students, my specialty is working with children with Autism and behavior issues.
