I have taught in both suburban schools at the high school level and urban schools at the elementary/middle school level. While teaching I previously have tutored students. My main experience teaching has been various science courses but I have also taught math and reading. I began my education thinking I would be an elementary school teacher but then discovered my love of science so I took additional classes while completing my Master's so I could be certified to teach science. A Little Bit About Me...

I have BS degrees in education and industrial engineering. I also have an MS Teachers in Geosciences. I have worked for much of my career as an engineer but have also taught earth science at the high school level for two years in the recent past. I have great enthusiasm for the world we live in and the study of earth science. I look forward to working one on one with students that are having difficulty and helping them make the grade.
I believe a good teacher should have the following attributes. First, they should love their respective subject. Second, they should have real world experience that can tie to the lesson of the day. In 2009, I received my Bachelor of Science in General Biology. Throughout college, I saw a need to help others and began tutoring for a short amount of time in 2006 in high school Biology for a young man who was failing his class.
