I began tutoring high school and middle school students when I was a college student and high school soccer coach. Upon completion of my degrees and being awarded my teaching certification I began teaching in a high school math classroom. During my eight years in the classroom I taught all levels of math from Pre-Algebra through AP Calculus. The past two years I have not been in the classroom but have continued with tutoring, mostly high school and middle school students, but occasionally elementary and college students as well.
I believe that a good portion of teaching well is listening well. As I listen to my students' needs I am better able to help them through whatever may be frustrating them. During college, I tutored mathematics to elementary and secondary school students. While I was an undergrad student at Srinakarinwirote, I continue tutoring high school students until I earned my master's degree. After college, I taught secondary mathematics for 10 years, then became a doctoral student at Oregon State University. At Oregon State, I worked as a graduate teaching assistant for mathematics and tutored at the math learning center. I am currently a full time math instructor at Yakima Valley Community College

I taught trigonometry as a teaching assistant at portland State University while a graduate student. I also taught at Chemeketa Community College as a supplemental instructor, holding group tutoring sessions for basic algebra, trigonometry, and geometry, for classes that used these subjects as part of the course.
