While tutoring, I use a wide variety of methods, including metaphors, diagrams- whatever the student requires to learn the material. I am exceptionally patient with struggling students, because I know that losing patience solves nothing, and given the right materials and knowledge, the student will succeed. I believe very strongly in the potential of people to do exceptionally well, even when they may not realize that they are capable.
