As a special education teacher, I have experience in a variety of settings such as alternative education, partial hospitalization programs, and autistic support programs. I currently teach high school autistic support students in a classroom based program. I have tutored for a private facility as well as through a school district after school program. As a teacher, my goal is to touch and help the future. I am very creative and pride myself on thinking outside of the box, in order to instruct my students in a non-typical style if necessary. As a Penn State graduate, I was motivated to achieve a high level of excellence in my teaching career. I maintained my standing on the Dean's List all eight semesters of my college career and received numerous scholarships and awards.
