My teaching experience includes over twenty years in Texas public schools. I have taught science to grades six through twelve that include AP Biology, PreAP Biology, Biology, AP Chemistry, PreAP Chemistry, Chemistry, GMO, and Environmental Science. I love helping students understand concepts that seem 100% foreign to them. I teach mostly geared towards visual learners. I tend to use visual and real life examples to push my students to grasp the concepts for themselves. I prefer to make them do the work and answer questions as we move forward. I do not believe students should just be given answers. They should be given the tools to answer the questions for themselves.
