There are so many wonderful resources available online as well as videos and dvds that can support the materials my students are using in their classrooms. My experience includes two years of full time teaching at the PreK level. I also have experience working with grade level students through practicums, student teaching, and substitute teaching. I have assisted teachers with middle school students during a summer technical program as well. I currently hold a M.S. in Education specializing at the Elementary grade levels. I also have a B.F.A. in Photography with a minor in Journalism.
My teaching style varies depending on the needs of each student. Because students learn in different ways, I feel it is important to start with a basic teaching method and evolve from there for each individual child and his or her level of learning. I feel that motivation goes a long way and that students should feel rewarded for any level of progress they accomplish.

I love working with children. When i was younger I had a job helping my aunt with her daycare business. I have five nieces and nephews, six siblings, two god children and one Daughter. I have always been a patient woman and Nurturing comes natural because I am a mother. I too, believe that all children can meet their potential. They all have to be in an calm secure environment. I love working with children of all ages. I can say I am patient enough to deal with elementary students being that I've done so before. I love to have fun with learning and can bring the fun of learning to the classroom. I want the students to want to learn and that is what I am going to bring to the table.
Children's church is where a year of my experience comes from. I would guide a group of children during the service and would spend individual time with those who wanted to brush up on their reading and writing. I enjoyed every minute of this experience and can say I made an impact in those children's lives.
