Composition is one of my top subjects! I describe myself as a born writer. In elementary school my nick name was "grammarian." I am an aspiring novelist and an aspiring screen writer. Patience, repetition, mini quizzes, and following a plan, pretty much summarize my teaching style. I also like to make my students comfortable, by being understanding, encouraging them to ask questions, and being very willing go over material that I have covered. My goal is to help my students improve their grades, and while doing that, to also help them love to learn.
I teach exactly how I study. I discovered as an undergraduate student that a student has to have a plan of action when taking any course. You cannot just study without a plan and expect to score highly in a test. A Little Bit About Me...

I have been tutoring and teaching children since high school in my Teacher's Academy class at Lakota East High School. I then went on to study Education at the University of Dayton and graduated in May of 2013 with a degree and teaching lisence. In the fall I will be employed with Dayton Public Schools.
