French is one of my top subjects! I have a MA in French and 14 years of teaching experience. I was a middle school and high school teacher, and most recently a college professor.

Since the year 2000, I have taught and tutored middle school, high school, college, and adults in the public school systems, the private sector and most recently at the University of Vermont. I have taken French for over 5 years now and am currently pursuing a minor in the subject at the University of Vermont. I have been to France multiple times for both vacation as well as for building business connections. This following semester I will be attending the Grénoble École de Management (Grenoble School of Management) in France where I will be taking business courses in addition to french language courses. I started tutoring in 9th grade, and continued until my freshman year of college. I tutored middle school and high school students in math, sciences, and social studies. In college I tutored in Level 1 and 2 French, Psychology, and College Level Algebra. I have tutored both male and female students, and have worked with people with reading and learning disabilities.

A Little Bit About Me...

As an undergraduate at MIT, I have a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, and have complete master of those taught at the high school level. I have also completed several advanced courses in chemistry, biology, and physics, but am still young enough to remember the techniques I used to learn those subjects when I myself was a high school student. I have prepared many students (privately) for final exams in biology, geometry, and algebra.
I have a knack for creating analogies and mechanisms to help students remember things for exams, as well as strategies and ways of thinking that may be a little different than what was taught in class (but still gets them to the final result).
