I have held positions of CFO, controller, and divisional analyst which enabled me to gain extensive experience in the private sector of business and advanced technical skills in microsoft excel and various accounting systems. Presently, I am an adjunct instructor at teaching college algebra.
I enjoy teaching and believe that anyone can learn mathematics if given the proper help and assistance. I am very patient with students and find it rewarding to see them succeed in the their line of study. Using alot of examples and then using a "hands on approach" builds the student's confidence and ultimately success is how I like to teach. I have recently graduated from Mount Vernon Nazarene University with my BS in Mathematics and Mathematics Education. My hight school math teacher encouraged me by her passion and I have taken that into how I tutor and help others.

My undergraduate degree is in French however I took extensive coursework in mathematics and chemistry and have a good understanding of all the sciences. During my undergraduate studies, I tutored other students in science courses and lead a laboratory course. These were rewarding experiences as I watched my peers learn and thrive in academics. While working toward my Masters in Environmental Science I was able to teach the laboratory portion of an introductory course for two years. This allowed me to develop lesson plans, tests and quizzes and lab activities.
