Originally I am from Albania. I graduated from Molecular Biology and Genetics department of the prestigious Bosphorus University in Istanbul, Turkey. Established in 1863, formerly known as Robert College, it was the first American Educational Institution outside the borders of USA. Later I worked for two years at the Natural History Museum in London, UK. After that, for one year I was a researcher at the Molecular Systematics laboratory at Integrative Biology Department in Brigham Young University, in Provo, UT. Two years later I completed my master's in Biological Sciences from University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA. Currently I work as a biologist in the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I wanted to excite others as Chemistry had excited me. I teach the material and why it is so exciting. My style adapts to that specific student’s strengths, weaknesses and interests. I always try and connect their interests to the material, so it is more than just words and starts to be interesting. Chemistry is scary to many people, because they try to memorize, it’s too intricate remember everything. I teach the student to understand why and how substances react or behave. Knowledge of basics, allows the student to solve problems as they are given instead of memorizing specific answers. Problems must be asked from every angle so the student learns to use the basics to solve any scenario. Chemistry then becomes logical.
