As soon as it was a possibility, I integrated more advanced math courses into my schoolwork. I recently completed my BS in Mathematical Sciences at Westminster College. Since 7th grade, friends ordinarily looked to me for assistance with homework in the math subjects in which they struggled and I often excelled. In addition to helping my fellow students, I completed the high school A+ program, requiring 50 hours of unpaid tutoring. I reached this goal spending one year tutoring a 2nd grade class in their general studies and the other year with a 4th grade class. Now that I have graduated college and no longer have to focus as much on my own studies, I am ready to fully devote myself to the academics of others. I understand that all children can learn, but they also learn at different paces, in different ways, and at different times of the day.
