I have teaching certificate and have been substitute teaching. I have 2 Masters degrees,in Mathematics and Education. I have taught at Sylvan Learning Centers and at 3 Community Colleges. While pursuing my Ph.D. in chemistry, I not only taught required general chemistry labs and lectures at the university I attended, I also tutored both college and high school students in various fields of math and science. I have over 7 years of tutoring experience at all levels of biology, chemistry, physics, and math. In addition to one-on-one tutoring, I tutor groups of 2-5 students. I believe the best style, especially for tutoring, is to practice a lot. However, what make my teaching style successful is that when a student of mine does not succeed I can go through step by step and explain where he or she went wrong. Then we try again.
