I really enjoy, generally speaking, helping people, but mainly help them pursue a future degree for themselves and a better life. I keep telling to my students that they should erase the "math fear" and that everything is easy if one understands it. I enjoy working with a student until I see the "light bulb" come on. Because people are individuals, I realize that the same approach will not work with every student. In general, however, it is helpful to take something that the student already knows, and to work from there to those concepts that they do not know. This approach provides a solid reference point for memory and understanding. Patience is a key, and realizing that the length of time required to learn a concept is not an indication of intelligence. Graduated from wright state university in 1993 with a bachelors of science degree in mechanical engineering. I have worked the past 16 years in the automotive industry mainly as a manufacturing supervisor. Also, since high school have volunteered abd served on 2 fire departments as a firefighter and emergency medical technician.
