I have a BS in Mathematical Biology from U of M Ann Arbor. I held a 3.61 math GPA. I have experience tutoring highschool students in algebra II as well as college students in calculus and statistics. During the last four years I have tutored students in Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Calculus II, and Statistics.
My teaching style varies from student to student. However, the basic foundation is the same. I like to develop the fundamentals and build a foundation on top of them. I also like to see the students do a certain problem that they are struggling with in front of me. Moreover, I like them to talk out loud so I can follow their thought process and identify where they are struggling and help them better understand any steps that they have simply remotely memorized. A Little Bit About Me...

Throughout my graduate program at Western Michigan University, I taught at least one Business Statistics class per semester, was a volunteer statistics tutor for all undergraduate statistics courses, and consulted PhD students of other disciplines who needed help understanding or communicating statistics in their field. Furthermore, I worked as a part-time instructor for a semester at Kalamazoo Valley Community College teaching Mathematical Statistics. I have earned a BS and MS both in statistics, which have equipped me with an understanding in many areas of math, research, statistics, and science. In particular, I have extensive knowledge and experience in communicating mathematics (from basic algebra to advanced calculus) and statistics.
