I recently graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. During my four years there I became involved in various activities and volunteer opportunities working with children. I was a reading tutor for America Reads, a volunteer in a Head Start program, and completed numerous community art projects, including murals, with local children.

My comments on tutoring Geography : I have loved maps since I was a young girl. I think what I love most about them is imagining all of the incredible places that I could visit, the unique cultures I could experience, and fascinating natural and historical sites that I could explore! Denver Summer Scholars - Lead computer tutor - Taught 3 classes a day with 15 students in each class. I used computer software to tutor students in math and language arts.
