Reading, Writing, and More

I have no set style of teaching. I try to understand how to benefit the individual by examining their needs. Then, we go from there. Some students need an analytical approach, so the material can best be presented as a formula. Others need a creative approach. It really just depends on the student.

My comments on tutoring Grammar : I've worked as a Literacy coach in the Los Angeles Unified School District, in addition to teaching all areas of language arts to students in grades 1 through 5. My experience includes extensive experience in teaching to students for whom English is not their first language. As an adult and a life-long learner, I still "edit" the books I read for fun!
