Teaching and helping others is a passion of mine. I love the feeling I get when I realize I have helped somebody solve a problem. It makes them feel accomplished, and myself as well. When I tutor, I let the student come to me with the problem, and instead of doing it for them, I will break it down into smaller steps they can do. I will use similar examples from a book or problems I make up to show them the basics of the problem. I want to provide students with a good, strong mathematical foundation. I hold two valid permanent teaching certificates and a professional license. I have been fortunate to have taught all grades and all subjects with the exception of 1st, 3rd, and 4th. Currently working as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Ohio University in the department of electrical engineering and computer science. I have more than three years of MATH teaching experience in academic advancement center of Ohio University Library. Three years of math tutoring experience has not only helped me keep my intellect sharp but more importantly helped me hone my skill of being able to explain Math concepts to students in a very simple and easy to understand manner.
