My comments on tutoring Grammar : Two years experience as manuscript editor.

I believe in identifying where a student lies on the subject he/she is studying before going further. The advantage of one on one tutoring compared to classroom is that the lesson can be based around where the student’s strengths and weaknesses are rather than a blanket method. I also believe that the skills used in English can be best practiced and analyzed through writing rather than worksheets and tests. Therefore, I believe in having the student write on a variety of subjects and working through these pieces to show where they can improve.
I graduated from Fitchburg State University in 2009 with a Bachelor’s of Science in English and Professional Writing. My comments on tutoring Grammar : I've been a writer for 40 years and grammar is my specialty.

I have logged over 5,000 hours of tutoring in the last four years.
