I have earned a bachelors degree (BS in Biology) and I have excelled in my classes. I have taken 2 semesters of both general chemistry and organic chemistry. After performing at a high level in these courses, I ended up tutoring students in organic chemistry for about 2 semesters. Since I am currently studying for the MCAT exam (Medical College Admissions Test) my organic chemistry knowledge is fresh. I am able to effectively relate/teach to people from different age groups, educational backgrounds, etc. My professor/mentor (Dr. Larry Hanne) has complimented on my ability to take complicated or difficult concepts and simplify them and then present them in a understandable way. I have been an elementary school teacher for nearly 18 years. I taught for 7 years in Elk Creek and 10 years in Los Molinos where I currently teach 2nd and 3rd grade.
